What is hypnotherapy?

Clinical hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach that utilizes hypnosis to help individuals address various psychological and physical issues.
During a hypnotherapy session, a trained practitioner guides the individual into a relaxed state, known as a trance, where their focus and concentration are heightened. In this state, the individual becomes more open to suggestion, allowing the therapist to work with their subconscious mind to facilitate positive changes.
Clinical hypnotherapy can be used to treat a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, phobias, smoking cessation, weight management, chronic pain, and more. It is often used as a complementary therapy alongside other medical or psychological interventions.
The process typically involves an initial consultation to assess the individual’s needs and goals, followed by a series of hypnotherapy sessions tailored to their specific needs.
The therapist may use techniques such as visualization, suggestion, and guided imagery to help the individual achieve their desired outcomes.
